Last year\u2019s Saturday Funny Fine Fundraiser was a great success, raising $625 for a local charity. The 2023\/24 winner, Michael Hodge, selected Fairview Homes Foundation as the recipient of the funds.<\/div>\n

The fundraiser collects money through $5 fines for amusing golf mishaps, like an unfortunate tee shot, which is noted on the chalkboard in the bar. It\u2019s all in good fun, bringing laughter and camaraderie to the course while supporting a great cause.<\/div>\n

This year\u2019s winner is Harley Herbel, who was awarded the prestigious floral jacket in December for his contributions. This time next year, Harley will have the honour of selecting a local charity to receive this year\u2019s funds.<\/div>\n

A big thank you to everyone who takes part in this light-hearted tradition, making golf even more enjoyable while giving back to our local community.<\/div>\n
