Mixed Foursomes Champions

Congratulations to Deano Bubeck & Kerri Ahearn on their victory in this years Mixed Foursomes Championships.
After starting with a triple bogey, double bogey, they managed to settle down and record a respectable score to take the title.

 
 
 
 
 
Entries are now open for this years Mixed Foursomes Championships.
Day: Sunday 28th April
Time: Rolling Start from 11:00am
MIXED FOURSOMES FORMAT A team shall consist of one male player and one female player. The team handicap is half the players combined handicaps.
The male player shall tee off all the odd numbered holes and ladies the even numbered holes. The ball is then played alternately until the ball is holed out.
NOTE: It is the players responsibility to be aware of the specific rules of golf for Foursomes.
PRIZES: Prizes shall be awarded in the following categories:
i. Foursomes Champions
ii. Runners Up
iii. Nett Winners
iv. Nett Runners Up
Other prizes as determined by the Event Committee and depending on the number of entrants. – The same team shall NOT be awarded both Gross and Nett prizes.
Leading 4 nett scores (if available) will be eligible for the George Lowe Trophy, Handicap matchplay to be played;
Semi Final: Sunday 5th May  1 v 4  2 v 3
Final: Sunday 19th May

For those with a little extra time on their hands, or just finished your last good book, here is the latest release from Golf Australia regarding the WHS & how it will affect golfers & golf clubs here in Australia.
The benefit we have, is that through our provider, MiClub, all calculations are automatically done when handicaps are processed.
