2023 Women’s Bowl Winners

On Monday 27th November we held our annual Women’s Bowl, where various teams from the Warragul Country Club and affiliated Clubs played in a team stableford event over 18 holes. 

The competition is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Club of St Andrew’s, Scotland, together with Local Rules in force on the course on the day of play.

A big congratulations to Marlene Wight, Irene Thomas & Sandy Heenan (pictured below) who are the winners of the 2023 Warragul Challenge Bowl with a score of 106 points.

Anthony Bambridge Resignation

I wish to advise Members that Anthony Bambridge has informed the Club of his intention to resign and pursue an opportunity at another Club. On behalf of all Members, we extend our appreciation and thanks to Anthony for his time with us and his role as Director of Golf. Anthony’s last day will be the Gippsland BMW Warragul Pro Am on Saturday 9^th December and we encourage all Members to join us for golf award presentations and a farewell to Anthony. 

In respect to a replacement, the Club will commence that process immediately.

Vale ~ Pearl Langdon
