On behalf of the PGA of Australia and Valley GWM Haval, we are pleased to invite you to attend the GS6 Women’s Networking Lunch on Friday 10th November 2023. 

We are excited to announce that this event will feature Australian Olympian, Anabelle Smith, as guest speaker. Anabelle has competed on the Australian Diving Team for the past 15 years. She is a triple Olympian, debuting at the London 2012 Olympics, and won an Olympic Bronze medal in the 3m synchronised event at Rio 2016. Anabelle has also competed at 4 Commonwealth Games, winning multiple medals, including Gold in Birmingham last year. She is a passionate sports, travel and adventure lover, and loves indulging in all things wellness. As an empowered female in sport, Anabelle shares her energy & experiences through schools and corporate settings, and is currently helping shape Australia’s sporting future on the Australian Institute of Sport Athlete Advisory Committee. 

The event also includes a putting clinic (optional), and a sit-down lunch followed by wine tasting hosted by First Creek Wines.

The Board, Committees & Members of the Warragul Country Club are deeply saddened at the passing of Margaret McNulty. Margaret was a long serving member of the club who joined WCC back in 1977 and will be dearly missed here at the club, especially the Lady Golfers on a Wednesday.

Notice of 2023 Men’s Golf Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 2023 Men’s Golf Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Members will be held at the Warragul Reception & Conference Centre on Tuesday 14th November 2023 at 6:30pm for the following purposes:

  1. To confirm the Minutes of the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
  2. To receive and adopt the 2022/2023 Annual Report of the President, Captain and other relevant reports.
  3. To consider and vote on any Motions with Notice that may be properly brought forward in regard to the Men’s Golf Rules.
  4. To elect the following Officers of the Club:

President (2 years)

Vice-President (2 years)

Secretary (2 years)

1 Committee Member (2 years)

All Nominations for Committee Positions and Motions with Notice for the Meeting will close with the Country Club CEO (or representative), at 6:00pm on Tuesday 31st October. Following receipt for those nominating the names will be listed on the Club notice board and website.

Copies of the 2022/2023 Men’s Golf Annual Report will be available for collection from Reception from Saturday 4th November 2023. The Report will also be distributed at the Annual General Meeting.

Voting will commence at 9am on Tuesday 7th November 2023 and will close at 6:30pm on Tuesday 14th November 2023.

Apologies will be accepted by the CEO prior to the AGM.
