The $2.5 Million Pick is on this Melbourne Cup Day at the Warragul Country Club!
 
What is the $2.5 Million Pick?
Exclusively available via the Sportspick app, it is an in-venue free to play, competition that gives you the opportunity to win up to $2.5 Million simply by picking the first 8 horses in a row in the 2023 Melbourne Cup. If no major winners a $10k guaranteed prize is on place for the best pick of 8 in a row.
 

How to enter:

  • Head into the Club on Tuesday 7th November
  • Download the Sportspick App on your smartphone OR use the Sportsbet Kiosks located in the Clubhouse
  • Go to ‘Competitions’, tap on the ‘$2.5 Million Pick’ and select, in order, the top 8 horses in the Melbourne Cup race
 

Important details:

  • You must be in the venue to enter
  • One entry per person
  • Entries open at 7am on 7th November and close at 2pm
  • The winner will be drawn within a day of the competition closing
 
We will also be giving away an exclusive Brown Brothers Winery Gift Hamper. To enter this draw, simply come in venue and make a purchase at any point of sale outlet and fill out an entry form. Winners will be announced on Wednesday 8th November.

VVGA State Championships

VVGA State Championships

On 22nd to 24th October the Club hosted the The Club hosted the Victorian Veterans Golfers Association (VVGA) State Championships where 104 veteran golfers took the field to compete for the championship title.

Club Member, Steven Porch, won the title of VVGA State Champion with a gross score of 147.

A Grade Champion – Steve Preston

B Grade Champion – Neil Fowler

C Grade Champion – Wayne Kupke

The Club is very proud to have been given the opportunity to host this event and hope to welcome it back in the future.

Vale ~ Brian Kinder

The Board, Committees & Members of the Warragul Country Club are deeply saddened at the passing of Brian Kinder. Brian was a long serving member of the club who was a frequent golfer with the Over 55’s on a Monday and the Tuesday golfers.
Condolences to the Joan, Shane and the Kinder family.

On behalf of the PGA of Australia and Valley GWM Haval, we are pleased to invite you to attend the GS6 Women’s Networking Lunch on Friday 10th November 2023. 

We are excited to announce that this event will feature Australian Olympian, Anabelle Smith, as guest speaker. Anabelle has competed on the Australian Diving Team for the past 15 years. She is a triple Olympian, debuting at the London 2012 Olympics, and won an Olympic Bronze medal in the 3m synchronised event at Rio 2016. Anabelle has also competed at 4 Commonwealth Games, winning multiple medals, including Gold in Birmingham last year. She is a passionate sports, travel and adventure lover, and loves indulging in all things wellness. As an empowered female in sport, Anabelle shares her energy & experiences through schools and corporate settings, and is currently helping shape Australia’s sporting future on the Australian Institute of Sport Athlete Advisory Committee. 

The event also includes a putting clinic (optional), and a sit-down lunch followed by wine tasting hosted by First Creek Wines.
