JJ McDonough Trophy
2023 Mixed Foursomes Championships
Entries are now open for this years JJ McDonough Mixed Foursomes Championships.
Day: Sunday 1st October
Time: Multi Tee Start from 11:00pm
MIXED FOURSOMES FORMAT A team shall consist of one male player and one female player. The team handicap is half the players combined handicaps.
The male player shall tee off all the odd numbered holes and ladies the even numbered holes. The ball is then played alternately until the ball is holed out.
NOTE: It is the players responsibility to be aware of the specific rules of golf for Foursomes.
PRIZES: Prizes shall be awarded in the following categories:
- Foursomes Champions
- Runners Up
iii. Nett Winners
Nett Runners Up
Other prizes as determined by the Event Committee and depending on the number of entrants. – The same team shall NOT be awarded both Gross and Nett prizes.
Leading 4 nett scores (if available) will be eligible for the George Lowe Trophy, Handicap matchplay to be played;
Semi Final: Sunday 17th September 1 v 4 2 v 3
Final: Sunday 24th September (subject to finalists)
