Hole In One Competition – Terms & Conditions

Hole In One Competition – Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions apply to the Club’s Hole In One Competition.

Eligibility To Enter This Competition:

  1. Non-Members are not eligible to win this competition, similar to the fact a non-member cannot win the Club’s monthly medal. Payment of the competition entry fee by a non-member does not entitle a non-member to claim an entitlement to the hole in one prize.
  2. Member entry to this competition is automatic upon payment of the relevant golf competition fee.
  3. All Club sanctioned 9 and 18 hole golf competitions are included.   (on basis the fee has been paid from which a $1 is going to the pool)    This will mean the 9-hole golf comps will go up a $1 and that will go to the pool.
  4. Warragul Bowl, Warragul Plate, All Club Board events, Warragul Classic and Warragul Pro Am and all semi-finals & finals are eligible events.
  5. Corporate pennant, Twilight 9-hole golf comp and the Over 55s golf comp are ineligible on basis they operate outside of the Club’s comp fee arrangements and there is not contribution to the prize pool being made from these events.
  6. Events not run by the Club and where Warragul is being utilised as a host venue are not eligible.  Logic being also, that no contribution is being made to the prize pool from these events.   Examples are Super 6 Pro Am, Veterans events and Golf Charity Days ie Bendigo Bank Charity day.

General Terms & Conditions:

  1. This is an additional competition offered to Members competing in Men’s and Women’s Club Competition.
  2. The funding of the “hole in one” prize pool will be $1 for every golf competition entry where a competition fee has been paid. This pool of funds will be kept in trust by the Warragul Country Club until a winner is recognized.
  3. The jackpot is awarded to any participating Member achieving a hole in one on any of the 18 holes during regular course of play during a competition round. This feat must be witnessed by at least one other Member of the Warragul Country Club and recorded in the participants scorecard. The witness must sign a declaration confirming the hole in one.
  4. The jackpot is paid out in the currency of Member Points through the Club’s Loyalty Program, as is standard for all other competition prizes paid at the Warragul Country Club. This prize is not redeemable for cash.
  5. The Men’s and Women’s Golf Committees of the Warragul Country Club may impose a cap or limit on the size of the jackpot, where any subsequent investments are then to fund the next prize. This cap may be initially set at $8,000.
  6. This competition does not preclude a successful player from other prizes or awards which may arise from a hole in one. Eg individual hole or event awards, trophy’s, Honor board recognition.
  7. Should two or more Members have a hole in one on the same day, the jackpot is to be shared amongst winners. Even if they are not playing in the same competition (e.g. men’s v women’s competition) the prize is shared. If two or more Members have a hole in one in the same competition over different days, the prize is not shared and the major jackpot will go to the day one prize winner and a new starting jackpot would go to the prize winner on day two.

Kitchen Renovation – Bistro Remains Open

Kitchen Renovation – Bistro Remains Open

In April the Club announced the upcoming kitchen renovation that is set to commence on Monday 26th June 2023. The renovation is expected to take 3 weeks to complete. During this time all kitchen operations will be conducted from the function kitchen and a reduced menu will be offered in the Bistro, to enable Bistro services to continue.

The kitchen renovation is required to remedy OH&S issues, replace aged kitchen equipment, rectify air conditioning issues and to improve staffing efficiencies in the kitchen operations. This project is being managed by Herbel Designer Homes.

If you have any questions regarding this notice please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
