For the month of April all Warragul Country Club Members have the chance to win a $1,000 Crown Gift Card.

Experience all Crown has to offer from luxurious hotel accommodation, the ultimate in spa pampering and fine dining experiences in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

To redeem your daily entry ticket to go into the draw to win the April Member Rewards prize, Members must:

  1. Swipe your card at the Member Rewards Kiosk upon entry at the Club to print and receive your entry ticket (one entry available from the Kiosk everyday).
  2. Place your entry ticket into the letterbox labelled “Member Rewards” located in the foyer.
This promotion will run from 9am on Saturday 1st April 2023 to 11.59pm on Sunday 3oth April 2023.
The prize draw is conducted at the Warragul Country Club on Monday 1st May 2023 at 9am.

April is the month to get back into golf! Our Get Into Golf Beginner Program is the perfect introduction to get into golf or get a refresher into getting back into golf! 

This clinic is a fun, safe & enjoyable space and will provide you with all the skills you need to get out and play! All equipment will be provided, however if you have your own please bring it along.

The sessions will cover:
putting
driving
irons
chipping and more

Appointment of Course Superintendent

Appointment of Course Superintendent

The Club is delighted to advise Members that Shaun Taylor has been appointed as the Club’s Course Superintendent. Shaun has over 20 years’ experience in the industry specifically with golf course maintenance, construction and presentation, with his most recent role at Southern Golf Club as their Course Superintendent, a position he has held for the past 7 years. Notably, Shaun possesses the leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to delivering a premium golf member experience, similar to what he has achieved at Southern Golf Club. Shaun will take up his new position in mid-May and we look forward to him joining our team.

Nathan’s last day is Friday 31st March 2023 and I wish to again take this opportunity to thank him for his outstanding service and contribution to this Club over the past 15 years. In the interim period, I am pleased to announce Shane Milroy as acting Course Superintendent until Shaun’s arrival.

$30,000 Raised – Bendigo Bank Charity Golf Day!
On Friday 17th March 2023 we held the 8th Annual Bendigo Community Bank Charity Golf Day. 
 
This is an integral annual event for our local community, raising much needed funds for the West Gippsland Hospital and the Warragul & District Specialist School.
 
The day was a huge success and the team raised a whopping $30,000 – well done to all involved!
 
 
Best Women’s Team was won by Kerri Ahearn, Barb Davidson, Kylie Golding and Lou Verge
Women’s Longest Drive Winners: A – Kylie Wendt B – Tania McDonald
Men’s Longest Drive Winners: A – Hamish Towns B – Andrew Runnalls
Winning Team with a score of 54.125 Peter King, Raymond Lubawski, Heath Black, & Hamish Towns

Lions Charity Golf Day

Lions Charity Golf Day

On Thursday 30th March 2023 the Warragul Lions Club will be hosting their Lions Charity Golf Day at the Warragul Country Club.

This is an individual stableford event for both men and women and is open to anyone with a golf handicap.

Entry fee is $15 per person and includes a complimentary BBQ provided by the Lions volunteers.

Tee Time 7am

Enter online via the timesheet or phone us on (03) 5623 2353.

All funds raised will be donated to the West Gippsland Legacy Group and local projects supported by Lions Warragul.

Raffle tickets available on the day, $2 each or $5 for 3 tickets
