Voted Top 3 – PGA Regional Pro Am Of The Year
On Thursday 20th October the Club was invited to attend the PGA Awards Night as we were named as finalists in the 2022 Regional Pro Am Of The Year. While the Club didn’t win first place we are very pleased to be recognised as one of the top 3 regional Pro Am’s in the state.
 
Dealer principal of Gippsland BMW (major sponsor of the event), Glenn Chenoweth, was very pleased with the nomination and said it is a great product to showcase his business here at the Warragul Country Club and throughout Gippsland.
Whilst not being able to attend the evening, Chief Operations Manager, Heath Jones, was also proud to have this event recognised by his fellow PGA peers.
 
“This nomination is a huge reward to all my function & events, grounds maintenance and golf operations teams for the tremendous effort they put into this event. It takes a great team to present a great event and it’s something we pride ourselves on delivering year in and year out.”

  • Gaming Attendants 
  • Functions
  • Kitchen Hands
  • Cleaning

Applicants must possess a ‘can do’ attitude in-hand with a proactive work ethic. Being a large-scale hospitality & sporting venue applicants must be available to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays. 

It is favourable to hold an Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) if applying for front of house & functions positions, and a Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) is also desired (but not a necessity) if applying for the position of gaming attendant.

Notice is hereby given that the 2022 Men’s Golf Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Members will be held at the Warragul Reception & Conference Centre on Tuesday 8th November 2022 at 6:30pm for the following purposes:

  1. To confirm the Minutes of the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
  2. To receive and adopt the 2022 Annual Report of the President, Captain and other relevant reports.
  3. To consider and vote on any Motions with Notice that may be properly brought forward in regard to the Men’s Golf Rules.
  4. To elect the following Officers of the Club:

Captain (2 years)

Vice-Captain (2 years)

Secretary (1 year)

1 Committee Member (2 years)

All Nominations for Committee Positions and Motions with Notice for the Meeting will close with the Country Club CEO (or representative), at 6:00pm on Tuesday 25th October. Following receipt for those nominating the names will be listed on the Club notice board and website.

Copies of the 2021/2022 Men’s Golf Annual Report will be available for collection from Reception from Saturday 5th November 2022. The Report will also be distributed at the Annual General Meeting.

Voting will commence at 9am on Tuesday 1st November 2022 and will close at 7:30pm on Tuesday 8th November 2022.

Apologies will be accepted by the CEO prior to the AGM.

Beginner Get Into Golf Clinics

Beginner Get Into Golf Clinics

I am excited to announce that I will be holding two Adult Get Into Golf Beginner Golf Clinics commencing in November.  This program is the perfect introduction to get into golf or get a refresher into getting back into golf! 

This clinic is a fun, safe & enjoyable space and will provide you with all the skills you need to get out and play! All equipment will be provided, however if you have your own please bring it along.

The sessions will cover:

  • putting
  • driving
  • irons
  • chipping and more

MONDAY CLINIC (4 week program)

Dates: Monday 7th November to Monday 28th November 2022

Time: 5.45pm to 6.45pm

Duration: 4 weeks

Cost: $120 per person
