Vale – Eric Barrass
The Board wishes to advise Members of the sad news of the passing of long time Club Member Eric Barrass on 17th May 2022.
Eric was a 50 year Member of the Warragul Country Club and as such was extremely well known to many generations of Club Members. He joined the Club in 1965 and together with his partner Val, a Club Life Member, forged a long and enduring association with this Club.
He was Captain of the Club in 1971-72 and his name adorns our Honour Boards, having won the George Lowe trophy (1982,1988) and mixed foursome championships in 1973.
Eric loved his golf and was a regular player right up until his passing at age 98. He was an outstanding Member of this Club and he will be sadly missed by all.
The Club extends its heartfelt condolences to Leigh & Peter and the Barrass family.

Lions Charity Golf Day
On Thursday 26th May 2022 the Warragul Lions Club will be hosting their Lions Charity Golf Day at the Warragul Country Club.
This is an individual stableford event for both men and women and is open to anyone with a golf handicap.
Entry fee is $15 per person and includes a complimentary BBQ provided by the Lions volunteers.

All funds raised will be donated to the West Gippsland Legacy Group and local projects supported by Lions Warragul.

- Swipe your card at the Member Rewards Kiosk upon entry at the Club to print and receive your entry ticket.
- Place your entry ticket into the letterbox labelled “Member Rewards” located in the foyer.
The prize draw is conducted at the Warragul Country Club at 9.30am on Wednesday 1st June 2022.This promotion will run from 9am on Sunday 1st May 2022 to 11.30pm on Tuesday 31st May 2022.
