Board Casual Vacancy Appointment

Members would be aware of the advertising of the recently vacated Board position. Members are advised that the Board has considered all applications and has appointed Steven Morrissey to the Board.

The Board is encouraged by the number and strong calibre of applicants who applied for the position.

Steve is currently the CEO of South East Housing Co-operative Ltd and possesses the qualifications and experience that the Board believes will be an asset to the Board, to the Club Membership and to the delivery of the Clubs strategic plan.

We look forward to Steve making a significant contribution to the Board. Members are advised that in accordance with the Rules, this appointment can only extend until the 2022 AGM, when this Board position will be advertised as part of the normal AGM election process.

Director of Golf Position Vacancy

Director of Golf Position Vacancy

Members are advised that a management restructure has occurred at the Club and I am pleased to announce that Heath Jones has been appointed to the position of Chief Operations Manager. This is a new position that brings key and critical parts of our commercial business under Heath and increases his current scope of works and responsibilities. To support Heath in this new role, the Club will recruit a new Director of Golf.

Golf Operations still comes under Heath’s control and the Director of Golf will report to Heath.
