Saturday 30 October – Course Closed till 11:00am

Attention all Golf Members,

After a course inspection by Club Captain Wayne, Course Superintendent Nathan and myself, we feel with the necessary clean up required in the morning the course will not be playable. Further to that, the potential of many members lending their support to clean up will make conditions unsafe for golfers and non golfers together to be on course. 

Last nights storm and the strong winds today have created unsafe conditions for the course staff to attempt any clean up so we have made the decision to keep the course closed till 11:00am.

We understand this situation is not ideal and are devastated considering many of our Members were looking forward to their first game back in many months and competitions only returning last week.

For those wishing to still play I encourage you to try and book in the afternoon field where available.

Urgent Call for Volunteers

We are asking any members who might be available to help out the course staff with the clean up required after the storms of Thursday night and Friday morning. 

If you have a spare couple of hours on Saturday morning from 8:00am, and you have a rake, we could use your assistance to remove all the fallen debris that lines the fairways and surrounds. 

For those with a ute or access to a trailor, that would be a great help also. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day Here!

Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day at the Warragul Country Club! 🏆

With increased patron limits, our Club is ready to welcome you back with open arms to celebrate the race that stops the nation on Tuesday 2nd November!

Ahead of the big day, we have a few messages:

• Patron limits have been removed and we are back to normal!
• Our TAB, Bar, Lounge and Terrace will be open.
• The race will be shown live on the big screens.
• A Café snack menu will be available. Unfortunately due to staff shortages, our Bistro menu will not be offered on this day (but our new bistro menu will be launched from Wednesday!) 
• Golf will be operating as usual.

Bookings are strongly advised.
