Easing of Restrictions for Regional Victoria

Dear Members,
The acting Victorian Premier has announced that Regional Victoria will be easing restrictions from 11:59pm on Thursday 3rd June 2021.
In accordance with the legal advice and the summary of restrictions, the following will apply at the Warragul Country Club.
In Summary:
- The venue will reopen on Friday 4th June and golf will resume.
- Members and guests residing in the Metropolitan area will not be allowed access to the venue or the golf course. As such, postcode checking at reception will be re-introduced.
- We ask that any Members residing in the Metropolitan area adjust their golf bookings accordingly for the following 7 days.
- The gaming room is closed.
- The entire venue is limited to 50 patrons at any one time, and a density quotient of 1 person per 4 square metres will apply also.
- Clubs operating hours will be from 9am to 9pm and beyond 9pm if customer demand dictates.
- The café will be open to sit and enjoy snack food and coffee from 9am subject to capacity limits. At 11:30am when our 50 guest capacity limit will move to bistro diners, the café will remain open, however for take-away only.
- Bistro bookings for lunch and dinner will continue to be Tues-Sun, with two sittings available. (Bookings essential)
– Lunch 12:00pm – 1:30pm and 1:30pm – 3:00pm
– Dinner 5:30pm – 7:30pm and 7:30pm – 9:00pm
- During non-bistro times, 2:30pm – 5:30pm, the sports bar will be available for members to enjoy subject to density limits.
- The golf course and operations will be available as per the timesheets available on the website. Until otherwise advised, the golf course will be open for “training purposes” and competitions will not be authorised. The club will revert to the sweepstakes format as implemented back in August 2020.
We still await the clarification of the restrictions from DHHS and this usually takes 24-48 hours for these details to be provided. Should there be any further changes, we will advise Members accordingly.
For those Members who have Bistro Bookings for Friday night and other Bistro bookings, you will be telephoned by Club reception from 9am Thursday morning to discuss and reconfirm your booking. If your booking includes other guests and members please confirm their requirements this evening and ahead of your telephone call Thursday morning.
On behalf of the Board & Management of the Warragul Country Club, we thank our Members for their continued support of the Club and for those Country Members impacted by these latest Directions, we look forward to seeing you all back very soon.
