Important Changes to Golf @ Warragul from 15th November

Attention Golfers,
After discussions with Golf Australia, it has been determined that we can return to cups the right way around and the removal of the flags being permitted.
Bunker rakes will still be unavailable and preferred lies will continue until further notice.
As a club we are required to be sanitised following each use. The groundstaff will sanitize the flagsticks before play each day.
Our recommendation is that golfers use either their glove or a towel to remove the flag from the hole.
Individual sanitizer packs are available from the pro shop at no charge f0or members to attach to their bags or carts.
Please note: this change does not come into effect until Sunday 15th November

Pace of Play Requirements

Very few golfers would admit to being slow players but we can all do our bit to play a little bit faster. As our fields become larger, we ask all golfers to be vigilant in regards to slow play.
Some tips are:
- Be aware of your position on the course. You should always play at a good pace and keep up with the group ahead.
- You should be ready to play as soon as it is your turn. While you are waiting, use your time wisely to prepare so that when it is your turn you are ready to play.
- Do not worry about the group behind – keep up with the group in front.
- If you feel that your group is falling behind take responsibility and bring this to the attention of the other players in your group.
- Invite the group behind you to play through if you are delaying them.
If we can all follow these quick and easy steps we should all enjoy a nice day out on the course and make it back to the 19th in good time!
