Earlier this afternoon Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, announced that the state of Victoria will begin a five day lockdown from 11.59pm tonight, Friday 12th February 2021. As a result of this lockdown, the Club will close from 11.59pm tonight.
It is important to note that takeaway will be available for lunch and dinner during this time. Takeaway orders can be made here or by phoning reception on (03) 5623 2135.
Takeaway will be available to order between the following times:
All other Clubhouse operations will close from 11.59pm tonight. This includes bar, dining-in facilities such as the café and bistro, gaming, golf course, pro shop and functions.
The golf course is also closed, with the exception of exercise in accordance with the lockdown rules.
At this stage, the Club will resume operations on Thursday 18th February from 9am. We will continue to communicate with Members and provide updates where we can.
We would like to thank you all for your support and patience during this time. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

Dear Male Golf Members,
At the February committee meeting it was agreed that for a 12 week trial the maximum daily handicap for a male would be increased from 36 to 45 for all non board and major events. Monthly Medals are regarded as a major event on the programme.
We hope with this decision we will see a number of our members who have come back from injury or have been struggling with the current maximum to be a little more competitive on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
After the 12 weeks the committee will discuss the results and see if this will become more permanent.

After a call of arms went out to our members late last week, it was great to see such a turn out of members on hand to clean the course up after such a terrible week of high winds and then debris everywhere all over the course.
Over 20 members made themselves available on the Monday, armed with rakes, chainsaws, utes and trailers and spent a good couple of hours tidying up areas most affected by the winds. As Nathan pointed out afterwards, the work they did in those few hours would have taken him and his staff nearly all week to do. The benefit of this was the course staff were able to complete the re turfing on the back tee on 15 and weather permitting we should see this back in play in 4-6 weeks.
On behalf of Nathan and the club, thank you again to the members who made the effort on the day. It’s always great to see everyone getting behind this great club!
