Japan Golf Tour 2020

Japan Golf Tour 2020

Dear Warragul Golf Member,
It’s that time of year again, the weather is still terrible and it’s got me thinking where to next for a golf trip – well I’ve got it – JAPAN!
Please find attached an itinerary and information sheet containing all the important information pertaining to this proposed Tour to Japan in June, 2020.
All we need is a minimum of 7 travellers to make this trip proceed.
Again, I will be personally leading, hosting and playing on the entire tour and look forward to enjoying all that Japan has to offer with you.
The tour commences on Sunday 21/06/20 – 29/6/2020.
In order to provide travellers with Maximum flexibility in terms of “Inward” and “Outward” travel arrangements, the tour covers “On- Land Content” only.
The prices are A$5000 pp (twin share) or $6000 (single) for the Main Tour.
Non Golf Option is $3,600 (Twin/Double Share) | $4,600 (Single)
I believe this is amazing value for a trip of this quality.
I am coordinating this trip in conjunction with my golfing travel partners, Elite Sporting Tours Japan, who will be happy to assist you with any other “Extensions” you may be considering. You may want to arrive in Japan a little earlier & do some extra sightseeing.
If you have any questions please contact me as follows:

I hope we get the chance to visit Japan and share these great experiences together!

Cart Shed Notice

Cart Shed Notice

Notice to Members
The Board, at its 29th August 2019 meeting resolved to prepare a Club Policy on the conditions and use of the Club’s Golf Cart Storage Shed.  A draft of the policy will be displayed on the Club noticeboard inviting member comments before being adopted by the board.
In the interim, the Board wish to advise Members of the following important conditions:
1) Member’s rights to a golf cart shed storage cage are not transferable.
2) Should a Member purchase another Member’s golf cart that has a right to a golf cart shed cage, the golf cart shed cage DOES NOT come with the sale of the cart.
3) Where a Member who has a right to a golf cart shed storage cage, sells his or her cart, unless it is sold to a co-owner of the golf cart (who is nominated explicitly on the relevant golf cart shed nomination form) then the golf cart shed storage cage is effectively vacated and the nominee will be reimbursed any prepaid rental fee.
4) All vacated golf cart storage shed cages will be filled from the golf cart storage shed waiting list.
5) “Existing use” rights apply to those members who utilise the storage shed for the sole purpose of storing golf bags and golf buggies.
The above five (5) conditions are effective immediately.  As part of the issue of the Policy, all Members with existing usage rights to the golf cart shed will be required to complete a new nomination form and nominate any co-owners of the golf cart for the purpose of condition 3 above and registration of the co-owner if applicable.
Should any Members wish to discuss this notice further, then please contact me on 0418 325 252.
Yours sincerely,

Defibrillator Information & Demonstration ~ Wednesday 28th August

Defibrillator Information & Demonstration ~ Wednesday 28th August

To keep members up to date, the club feels it necessary to offer another session for members to come along and see how these units work. The session will be conducted by a qualified First Aid Provider and will cover the ‘DRSABCD’ first aid sequence.

The date is Wednesday 28th August from 3pm

Participants will be able to see usage of the defibrillator in real time and learn how it can combine with CPR to greatly increase prospects of survival.
Recognising that most of the members at the club are in the over 40’s age group, we see this as an important session in which to attend. Defibrillators are being universally promoted as an important tool in helping to treat heart attacks.
There is no cost to attend the afternoon.

Regards,

Heath Jones

Club Assistant Manager
Golf Operations
