Entries now open for the Ellis Tinker Mixed Canadian Foursomes to be held on Sunday October 13th.
Please note: it will be a 12pm Multi Tee start, not an 11:00am as in Programme book.

The entry list is now available for this years Men’s Summer Matchplay. A draw iwill be populated once entries close on Friday 20th September at 6pm.
Please pay close attention to the Conditions of Play below, especially the rules around matches FINAL DAYS
Conditions of Play: The player listed on top of the draw sheet should normally take responsibility for initiating contact to arrange the match. However, there is nothing wrong with any player making contact with their opponent
( Contact numbers can be found looking under members >members directory of the homepage.)
If the match is still tied after 18 holes the game continues as sudden death from the first hole, until a hole is won. Strokes are taken using the Match Index. Players may mutually agree to re-convene the match if there is insufficient light or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the event that a match is stopped before its conclusion by a cancellation of play, if less than 6 holes have been completed, the match will be cancelled, the score disregarded and the match replayed at a later date.The result must be recorded on the results sheet on the Notice Board at the conclusion of the match.
– The player’s daily handicap used will be the one available from the Pro-shop on the day of play.
– Matchplay event using the Match Index from the scorecard to determine holes where strokes are given. The player with the higher handicap is given a stroke(s) on the holes listed on Match Index equal to the difference the two player’s handicaps. For example if Player A is off 10 and player B off 22, player B is given a stroke on the holes marked as 1 to 12 on the Match Index.

The club will be conducting a punters club throughout the Spring Carnival.
Punting will commence on Sunday the 29th September with the Underwood Stakes meeting and conclude with the Zipping Classic at Sandown on the 16th November.
All Saturdays are included along with Blue Sapphire Stakes day, the Melbourne cup and Oaks day. Friday night betting at Moonee valley is an option as well if it’s your Saturday bet.
Cost of entry is $100, which must be paid up front.
Order of betting will be determined after we know who wants to go in it.
Please advise Paul Mitchell or Heath and /or place your name on the sheet in The TAB area.
The plan is to have your betting voucher available at the TAB for individuals to place their bet and write their selections on the whiteboard in the TAB area. TAB tickets to be returned to TAB staff.
YOU can also create a notification your self and circulate your bets on the Team App- Warragul CC Punters Club
Alternately bets can be advised in a timely manner to Heath, Paul or TAB staff who will put the bets on and bets will circulate through the Team App as well as on the board in the TAB Area.
There may be multiple punters betting on the one meeting.
If a punter collects more than $200 then they have another bet of $100 next betting day.
Monies will be split between punters after the Zipping Classic

Dear Warragul Golf Member,
It’s that time of year again, the weather is still terrible and it’s got me thinking where to next for a golf trip – well I’ve got it – JAPAN!
Please find attached an itinerary and information sheet containing all the important information pertaining to this proposed Tour to Japan in June, 2020.
All we need is a minimum of 7 travellers to make this trip proceed.
Again, I will be personally leading, hosting and playing on the entire tour and look forward to enjoying all that Japan has to offer with you.
The tour commences on Sunday 21/06/20 – 29/6/2020.
In order to provide travellers with Maximum flexibility in terms of “Inward” and “Outward” travel arrangements, the tour covers “On- Land Content” only.
The prices are A$5000 pp (twin share) or $6000 (single) for the Main Tour.
Non Golf Option is $3,600 (Twin/Double Share) | $4,600 (Single)
I believe this is amazing value for a trip of this quality.
