Back to Back Ross Trophy Winners

Congratulations to Leigh & Tom on their victory in this years Ross Trophy.
After qualifying in 3rd position, they managed to overcome Deano Bubeck & Dean Armstrong in the semi finals 1up, then went on to win the final 5/4. Well done to Dennis Joyce & John Young for also making the final. Unfortunately John was forced to work on the day so Dennsi had to go it alone.

Unstoppable!!

Well done to our Ladies Division 1 team who have won an amazing 5th Pennant in a row!
Heading into the final at Morwell GC against a strong Trafalgar team, the ladies were never headed and won 5-0. In the words of the late Richie Benaud – “Marvellous effort that!”
Our Division 2 girls came up against a Traralgon team who were keen to reverse the scoreline from the week before and did so 3 1/2 – 1 1/2. Still a great effort ladies

Mother & Son victorious

Congratulations to Dale & Betty Burleigh on their victory in this years George Lowe Trophy.
In a good contest they managed to hold out Linda Fowles & Matt Naus by the margin of 2/1.
Betty has made the move from Trafalgar to continue her golf here at Warragul and is enjoying every minute of it. With victories like this, whats not to love!!
Well done to both teams on making the final & to the spectators for making the effort to come out & support the players.
