On Saturday, 6 December 2025, we are proud to be #DoingItForJarrod, raising funds in support of Challenge – Supporting Kids with Cancer, in honour of Australian golfer Jarrod Lyle, who sadly passed away in 2018.

Jarrod Lyle, a talented professional golfer from country Victoria, was diagnosed with cancer three times throughout his life and passed away at age 36. Throughout his career, he achieved two professional victories—both in 2008 at the Mexican Open and the Knoxville Open—and reached a career-high USPGA ranking of 196.
A lifelong ambassador for Challenge, Jarrod’s legacy lives on through his wish to continue raising funds to support children and families living with cancer. In tribute to him, Challenge and the PGA of Australia created an annual nationwide fundraising campaign embraced by the golfing community across the country.
To further support this year’s fundraising efforts, we will be selling $5 raffle tickets from Friday, 28 November through to Sunday, 14 December. All proceeds go directly toward #DoingItForJarrod.

Promoter: The raffle is conducted by Warragul Country Club Inc. (“the Club”).

Raffle Tickets: Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and are available for purchase from Reception or the Pro Shop.

Eligibility: Entry is open to all individuals aged 18 years and over. Club staff are not eligible to enter.

Major Prize (valued at over $900): Two nights’ accommodation at Nicholson River Holiday Park in a Deluxe Cabin, Dinner at The Retreat Hotel, Nicholson Breakfast Voucher at Nicholson General Store, Lunch Voucher at Ginny’s Place Café, Paynesville, Golf Voucher at Bairnsdale Golf Club, Paynesville (includes 2 carts & 4 rounds) and Dinner Voucher at Motor Cruiser Club, Paynesville.

Draw Date and Time: Prizes will be drawn on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at the conclusion of the Jarrod Lyle Charity Day event. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Notification: Winners will be notified by phone, email, or in person.

Prize Collection: Prizes must be collected within 30 days of notification unless otherwise agreed with the Club. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Unclaimed Prizes: If a prize is unclaimed within 30 days, the Club reserves the right to redraw the prize or retain it at its discretion.

General Conditions: The Club reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners and to amend or cancel the raffle if circumstances arise outside its control. All prizes are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the respective prize providers. The Club accepts no responsibility for tickets that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
