Conditions Of Play

By submitting this entry form, competitors will be deemed temporary social members of the Warragul Country Club
for the duration of the event. Competitors will adhere to the directions of the management and staff of the club. A
copy of the club rules can be obtained from club reception. The Warragul Country Club is committed to the
principles of responsible service of alcohol and responsible gambling and patrons accept the inherent risks of these
products.


Competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Club of St
Andrew’s, Scotland, together with Local Rules in force on the course on the day of play.
The Women’s Committee may authorize, in the event of bad weather, to abandon, shorten the competition or
arrange another day. The Women’s Golf Committee has the power to alter or make variation to the conditions
should they deem it necessary to do so. If a dispute arises on any point, it shall be decided by the Women’s Golf
Committee.


THE EVENT is open to all players with a current GA handicap and is a stableford team event over 18 holes. Any
Affiliated Club may enter up to three teams of 3 amateur players each team. Eligible substitutes accepted.


ENTRIES are to be made by Club Secretaries. Entrance fees must be paid at time of entry.


PRIZES The Club of the team returning the highest aggregate score shall hold the Bowl for one year. Each team
member of the winning team shall have her name engraved on the Bowl and receive a trophy. Trophies will also be
awarded for best individual score in A & B Grades, plus NTP’s & DTL Balls.


In the event of a tie, the winning team shall be decided by a count back total of all three (3) cards of the team
involved.


Ties for individual trophy winners will be decided by count back.

Beverage Price Increase (August 2023)

Members are advised that Beverage Prices will increase by 3% from 1st August 2023. This is in-line with the supplier increases (Lion, CUB, Schweppes) of approximately 3-4% across all beverage categories as well as the 5.75% award wage increase on 1st July 2023. These supplier increases occur twice a year on 1st February and again on 1st August.

Wednesday 16th August 2023 at 9am

Notice is hereby given that the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Women’s Golf Members will be held at the Function Centre, 41 Sutton Street, Warragul.

  1. To receive and adopt the 2023 Annual Report of the President, Captain and Secretary and to receive a Financial Statement.
  2. To vote on Motions with Notice.
  3. To pass a vote of thanks to the outgoing Committee.
  4. To conduct the election of Office Bearers.
  5. To present badges to the elected Office Bearers and Committee Members.
  6. General Business.

Notices of Motion and Committee Nominations

Any notices of motion to be dealt with at the above meeting, and Nominations for Committee positions must be left at the reception or delivered to the Secretary, Shirley Todd no later than 9.00 am Wednesday 2nd August 2023.

Women’s Golf Committee Nominations for Committee Members 2023-2024

Nominations are required to fill the following seven positions:

  1. President
  2. Vice President
  3. Captain
  4. Vice Captain
  5. Secretary
  6. Two (2) Committee Members

Nominations for the above positions must be on an official nomination form and be left at Reception or delivered to the Secretary, Shirley Todd no later than 9.00am on Wednesday 2nd August 2023.

OBrien Real Estate Clark Warragul Classic 2023

The Warragul Classic is back for 2023 and will be held on Saturday 14th and Saturday 21st October 2023.

Play – Both days will be a traditional Saturday two tee timesheet.  Presentations will follow both days play.

Played as a Medley 4BBB Stableford, the three Divisions are:

  • Men’s
  • Women’s 
  • Mixed 

Entry Fees TBC

Handicap – The handicap used in the First Round for both players will remain the same throughout the Classic.

The pair with the best total score over the two rounds will be crowned the O’Brien Real Estate Clark Warragul Classic winners for 2023.

This is a Member exclusive event with fantastic prizes to be won!

Entrants will receive a gift upon registration.

Please note:you do not need to play both days to be eligible for daily prizes.
