Perfect weather conditions and a well-prepared course set the day up for a great success for the 2022 Gippsland BMW Pro-Am.
Victorian players who played here at the Warragul Country Club in the Gippsland Super 6, Tim Walker and Lachlan Aylen, earned maiden adidas PGA Pro-Am victories at the Gippsland BMW Warragul Pro-Am. Walker (pictured, right) and Aylen (pictured, left) met the challenge best with rounds of four-under 67, finishing one shot clear of fellow Victorians Bradley McGill, Andrew Kelly and Tim Elliott who each shot three-under 68.
The day wasn’t just about the Pros though, the Club saw 120 amateurs and sponsors compete for the chance to drive a BMW for a weekend courtesy of Gippsland BMW, among other great prizes.
We would like to extend our thanks to our Sponsors – Gippsland BMW, Narracan Lakes Development, Willow Grove, Carlton United Breweries, Next Payments, Craigs Onsites, Blackwoods, Herbel Constructions, Maladys Electrical, Robertson Wouters, RPS Industries, Warragul Denture Clinic, Dahlsens, Blackwoods MP, Farnham Built, Brett Thompson Painting, AON Insurance, Monacellars, and Waco – who make this event as astounding as it is.
The Warragul Country Club Pro-Am has a reputation in the PGA fraternity for being one of the most professionally run Pro-Am events in Victoria and it’s back in 2022!
The Pro-Am is by far the largest day on the Warragul Country Club’s calendar, and brings with it considerable exposure through the Club as well as local media outlets. The event attracts professional golfers from around Australia and this year’s Pro-Am will guarantee to draw some top line tour players as it will be part of the “Gippsland Swing” and following on from the success of the recent Gippsland Super 6.
Men’s and ladies amateur prizes are valued in excess of $4,000. Gippsland BMW will also provide the leading amateur winner the opportunity to drive a BMW for a weekend.
We look forward to another great day on Saturday 22nd January!

Following on from Monday night’s Members Information Session, please find below a copy of the proposed renovation plan.
The session was attended by over 80 Members and we thank them for their participation and feedback.
Consistent with that feedback, the Club will instruct the Architect Luke Ponti to now develop the plans to a ‘Detailed Design’ stage suitable for an application to be made to council for a planning permit approval. This process is estimated to take 12 months.
Should any Member wish to submit any input to this detailed design phase, please send your feedback to me via email at michael@warragulcountryclub.com.au.
